Question removed from yahoo answers Are you willing to become the arm of the Lord?

Are you willing to become the arm of the Lord?

I was reading Isaiah 51 , and this is what I read.

Isaiah 51:9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

Now let me tell you the context I was reading, I was quite depressed with Y/A , with irrelevant rants by people who thought there was no God. So as I do daily, I prayed in the morning , ask the Lord for grace and asking him to help me in this depression, that's when I opened the Bible, and this chapter Isaiah 51 came in front of me, this has happened to me before , and I truly believe God answers me through his Word in such points, and hence I truly feel myself blessed. Some of the verses are.

Isaiah 51:7-12

7Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

8For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

9Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

10Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

11Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

12I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

I just wanted to ask are you willing to become the arm of the Lord, also if you can shed more Light on the verses

To the Son of Man all praise and glory be to him.

Hi,
Greetings in the name of our precious Lord Jesus Christ.
Today we will discuss the fundamental reason for the
sufferings of Jesus. The sufferings of the almighty
eternal God under the hands of mortal men.

Matthew 27:41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

Matthew 27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

Why did Jesus, The Mighty Lord Jesus Christ could not save himself.
It was because he loved the world and could not save himself before
the whole world, the whole humanity would be saved.

But who saved Jesus. The Lord God, Abba Father himself saved Jesus
and prevented his name from going into obscurity as a criminal but
gave him a name above all names that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow and every tongue confess.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Blessed be the name of jesus forever and ever. Amen

To the Son of Man all praise and glory be to him

Hi,

Today I would like to emphasize on a small understanding I have on
one of the parables of Jesus.Though I am convinced it has vast
meaning. The parable of the 'labourers in the vineyard'. I would
first of all give the full parable.

Mark 20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

Mark 20:2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

Mark 20:3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

Mark 20:4 And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

Mark 20:5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

Mark 20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

Mark 20:7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

Mark 20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

Mark 20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

Mark 20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

Mark 20:11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

Mark 20:12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

Mark 20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

Mark 20:14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

Mark 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

Mark 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

The labourers who expected more based on their work labour than
what they were told, recieved less although it was same for
all. They received less in their expectations in their minds
than those who did not expect of it.

All praise and glory to the Father and Lord God Jesus. Amen

god's view on relationship and marriage

Hi,

Glad to see this page and finding time to edit this page after a
long time. Nowadays I am trying to find ways and means to update
this blog on a continuous basis in between the tight work
schedule and restricted internet access.

Today I will emphasize something from God's perspective which
has many names and many form's and is almost impossible to
describe and I hope I will be able to do justice to it.
Therefore I will lay more emphasis on God's word than my own opinions.

Mathew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a
woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already
in his heart.

A mere look is a sin. Surely The principles of God are higher than
human understanding. It is what our minds cannot perceive or
fully grasp.

Matthew 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed
undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

In the Bible only marriage is honoured not any
other (indecent) relationship between man and woman outside of marriage.

But men and woman deal with each other daily apart from
marriage. What does the word of God say to be our nature
in such situations.

1 Timothy 5:2 The elder women as mothers; the younger as
sisters, with all purity.

This is the standard of God for dealing with woman with
all purity to be considered.

1 Corinthians 7:1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto
me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

1 Corinthians 7:2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every
man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

It is more true today when our minds are bombarded by the media,
by the internet with wrong images. It is difficult to maintain the
integrity of our own thoughts when we deal with women.

But marriage should not become a way of fulfilling all our carnal
desires. To fulfill our own lusts in all forms. But it is true we
face temptation even without desiring for it.

1 Corinthians 7:3 Let the husband render unto the wife due
benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

1 Corinthians 7:4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but
the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his
own body, but the wife.

1 Corinthians 7:5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with
consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and
prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for
your incontinency.

Even inside marriage it should be used to edify God not our lusts.
It is a commitment for life as a commitment with God himself.

Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore
err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither
marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are
in heaven.

The tests the responsibilities are here on earth only not in the
afterlife where all will be equals.

Many of the above words do not gel with the human understanding.
But as the Lord God himself has said.

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your
ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Has the human understanding ever geled with the understanding of
God the wisdom of God it never was it never will be.

In the mighty name of our precious Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

To the Son of Man all praise and glory to him.

Hi,
To the most high most blessed God all praise and glory to him.
Learnt a lot this week. I am sending a prayer request which
I posted to prayer sites as it is as I believe it holds
more meaning.

Sub:Fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel

Dear Prayer Warriors,
I want you to pray for the fulfillment of the prophecy of Daniel of the
four kingdoms.

Remember all prophecies of God are promises of God for the coming world.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and
shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times
and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times
and the dividing of time.

Daniel 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his
dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the
kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the
saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Who are this judgement Daniel 7:26. Is it a congregration of angels.
No it is the Church of Christ or the Bride of Christ. The prophecy
says the final world shall be given under the dominion of the
saints, who judge the world righteously in prayers,
intercession, mercy ,love and faith.

Please pray that all evil forces that surround us be destroyed
completely, which seek to destroy the dominion of the Kingdom of
God and the world be filled with the Spirit of God.

That the saints of God may emerge victorious over all forces of
darkness.

In the precious name of our mighty Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

To the son of Man all praise and glory be to him.

Hi,
Writing to you after a good and nice week full of joy and
blessings of the good Lord Jesus Christ.

I will look into some of the insights I have gathered from the book of Daniel. The times and conditions Daniel was living in it's time
and the relevance and insights we have in it for today.

Daniel was working or in a job for the king of Babylon or the Babylonian kingdom. We also work for organizations today
which may be large MNC's or small companies.

Is there much of a difference between organizations today and the ancient kingdom of Babylon , let us see.

Daniel 4:20 The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;

Daniel 4:21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:

This is the interpretation of the dream of Nebuchadnezzar king of babylon describing his kingdom by Daniel. It is like a
a tree which provides protection, food and resources to the inhabitants of the kingdom that are under it.
Are not also organization also like this where an individual finds a job ,a name, a family, protection and resources to do his work.

Babylon also had enemies namely Medes and Persians.

Daniel 5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Organizations also today have enemies which can be competitors or rivals or enemies from within the organization.
So we see there is not much of a difference between the days of Daniel under king Nebuchanezzar than our days under the wings of an organization where we work.
It is also clear from the book of Daniel that Daniel loved and honoured his king and wanted him to prosper and Nebuchadnezzar did grow and prosper during the times of Daniel.

Daniel 4:19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonied for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spake, and said, Belteshazzar, let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble thee. Belteshazzar answered and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate thee, and the interpretation thereof to thine enemies.

Daniel troubled by the problems coming to the king and wished that it should not occur to him. To us also it is required that we remain faithful to the organization that we work wishing their genuine prosperity and growth and working with as much dedication and hard work unto the very end.
But allegiance of Daniel was greater towards his heavenly master than his earthly master. This can be made clear from the verses below.

Daniel 1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;

Daniel 1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

Daniel 1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Daniel 1:6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

Daniel 1:7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Daniel 1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

Daniel 1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.

Daniel 1:11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,

Daniel 1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

Daniel 1:13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

Daniel 1:14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.

Daniel 1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

Daniel 1:16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Daniel 1:18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

Daniel 1:19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

So Daniel favoured God's command more than the command of the king and was finally gifted with strength honour and wisdom.
This brings a question who is the highest authority that we must seek God or men when pressed with such decisions

Eccleasiates 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:

Daniel 2:21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Daniel 4:32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

So it is clear from the above verses there is an authority above all authorities ,the authority of the Lord God himself whom we must seek.

But the point is God we do not see but our supervisors are in front of us daily. How can we know we are doing right.

Daniel 2:18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Daniel 2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

Daniel 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

Daniel 2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.

When Daniel and his fellow men were at the point of death Daniel sought the face of the Lord and the secret of the king was revealed to him by the most high God who knows all secrets. So nothing about our current position is hidden from the Lord God ,he will truly and freely give his wisdom to those who seek his will.

When in an organization we seek promotion or growth.Where does 'promotion" come from God or from Man. Since we live in an organization we need our work be recognized and rewarded what should we do when that does not happen.

Daniel 3:3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Daniel 3:4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Daniel 3:5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

Daniel 3:6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Daniel 3:8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.

Daniel 3:9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

Daniel 3:10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

Daniel 3:11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel 3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Daniel 3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?

Daniel 3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?

Daniel 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.

Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

Daniel 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Daniel 3:20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Daniel 3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

Daniel 3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Daniel 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.

Daniel 3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

Daniel 3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Daniel 3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.

Look How Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego were delivered and honored though they were given a bad report by their co-workers. So also it is with us. Many times we are concerned is the correct picture going to the heads of the organization? Are we in a right place ?. Would we be promoted ?.

Promotion in a job! . All promotions are from above everybody buys and sells whether we are in a job or not for survival. Therefore survival and promotion is not survival in a job and promotion in a job but survival and promotion in life itself. Therefore work for your superiors as much as possible with as much dedication and hard work and as a believer you will have to work more because your allegiance is not to this world but above . But remember true promotion in life comes not from the job but from blessings from above because the Lord God wills it and it will bye-pass all decisions taken from lower level authorities. You only need to abide in the faith in the Lord God and follow his will.

Praise the Lord God.

I have a word whom to seek for promotions.

Psalms:75:6: For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
Psalms:75:7: But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Daniel 5:25-28 also talks about how organizations are divided, Those who do not stand up to the justice and everlasting kindness of the mighty God.

Daniel 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

Daniel 5:26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it.

Daniel 5:27 TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting.

Daniel 5:28 PERES; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Apart from the authority of the orgnization there is also the authority of our religious heads whom we look into for guidance for our spiritual needs, what should be our outlook towards them. I believe we must love, honour and respect our religious leaders who are our guides in our walk in the worldly wilderness. They are also under more judgement every action of their is weighed under the balances of people who follow them therefore they are more worthy of our support. But in a way if you live a Christian life you yourself become a leader of God himself or a witness of God himself.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Whom the heathen world looks unto for guidance but are also judged severely by them. The only difference between the laity and a non-laity Christian is that they have a visible seal of the world but we have an invisible seal of god.

2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

2 Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

What if the leaders themselves conspire to lead the people of God astray?
In those times we must listen to the leadership of our spirit which has been poured out into our hearts and also find company of believers in prayers who can help us in our situations.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

In the blessed and mighty name of our lord Jesus Christ. Amen

To the son of man all praise and glory to him.

Hi, I am writing after many days that is because I don't have
internet connection in office and I reach home lately.

Well the thought for today is regarding Abraham and Saul

Abraham was blessed by God

Genesis 12:1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:

Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

but Saul was removed from God's covenant

1 Samuel 15:10 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

1 Samuel 15:11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

what was the reason for that

It was because Abraham obeyed God against all odds, but Saul looked for gain apart
from what the Lord had commanded. Therefore we should obey God without fear of retribution or any temptation of gain. We should give him glory above ourselves.

One more verse that has come to attention is that of Micah about the last days most people think that in the last days sin and iniquity shall increase but this verse says grace shall increase even beyond that

Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Micah 4:3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Micah 4:4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

Micah 4:5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

One more verse is also shows the need to abide in God to lead a righteous life. Righteousness apart from God is not only difficult but also dangerous.

Eccleasiates 7:16 Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ?

Eccleasiates 7:17 Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

Eccleasiates 7:18 It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.

All praise and glory to God and his Son Jesus Christ for enlightening the way and showing the way. Amen
